Objectives

    Objectives

The objective of the study will be to identify soil characteristics which are most responsible for the poor growth of sugarbeet in affected areas. Initial observations point to magnesium as a possible limiting nutrient. Therefore, a number of crop nutrient products containing magnesium (Mg) will be studied for their effects on sugarbeet yield and quality.
