Demonstrate that we can accurately quantify changes in soil C content by estimating soil C changes through the use of simulation models.

Objectives

    To determine the spatial variability of SOC in long-term (34 years) crop rotation experiment as the Swift Current Research Centre, and to quantitatively relate SOC to soil textural variability so as to facilitate modification of simulation models used for estimating carbon sequestration and the dynamics of C in soils.
