Objectives

    To evaluate the use of Diagnostic Recommendation Integrated System (DRIS) analysis on three high value crops - irrigated alfalfa, irrigated corn, and greenhouse cucumbers. To survey the current status of plant nutrition on these crops and compare this to conventional nutritional standards. To develop DRIS standards, data on yields and tissue nutrient concentrations must be collected. The same sampling program can also be used to survey the current status of plant nutrition on these three crops.
