1995 Annual Interpretive Summary

Wheat response to potassium under adverse soil moisture conditions, 1995

For the second year, P and K fertilizers produced higher than average yields of wheat when significant soil moisture stress prevailed throughout the growing season. The highest wheat yield was achieved with 129-51-56 kg/ha N-P2O5-K2O. Leaf chlorophyll content, photosynthetic rates, grain amino acid content and soil P and K levels were improved under this fertility regime. YUNNAN-03
