1996 Annual Interpretive Summary

Research on soil erosion and balanced fertilization, 1996

First year results indicate balanced fertilization of N, P and K reduced soil erosion by as much as 242 percent. Rational fertilizer use maximized the use of rainfall and improved crop yield. Project results indicate the best corn yields would be obtained with K application at the 20 to 60 cm depth. These results are critical to the restoration of sloping agricultural lands. SICHUAN-12
