Feeding the Plants That Feed the World, 1997 This pilot project is developing educational resource materials for use in Grades 4 and 8 classrooms in elementary schools. The resource is a science kit that includes hands-on experiments that show upper elementary and junior high school students how plants grow and their nutritional needs. The kits include representative soil samples, fertilizers, seeds and a facilitator’s guide for various experiments and activities.
