Interpretive Summary

1999

Effect of sul-po-mag balanced fertilization on Litchi, 1999 Soil nutrient removal for 50 kg of Nuomici litchi fruit amounts to 115 g nitrogen (N), 45 g P2O5, 147 g K2O, 26 g calcium (Ca), 14 g Mg, and 8 g S. These nutrients need to be replenished to maintain good healthy growth and yield for litchi trees. Third year results indicate the best yield and economic return were achieved by supplying 525-210-656-52. 5-105 g N-P2O5-K2O-Mg-S/plant/crop.
