Radix paeoniae and Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae are famous perennial and traditional Chinese medicine herbs in Anhui province. The area of the herbs covered 70,000 ha in bozhou county of Anhui and occupied 10% of that in China. The poor nutrient management in history result in the yield and quality of these herbs decreased in recent years and also brought some issues in local soils and groundwater environment. Read more

Research and Demonstrations on the Effect of Fertilization on Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, 2010 At present, the area planted to Chinese medicine herbs in Bozhou County of Anhui Province has reached 70,000 ha, about 10% of the national total. Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (RAM) is one of the main herbs in Bozhou, with a production area of 40,000 ha.

Effect of Fertilization on Yield and Quality of Medicinal Crops in Anhui, 2009 Radix paeoniae and Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephala are famous traditional Chinese medicinal herbs in Anhui. Cultivated area of these herbs covers 70,000 ha in Bozhou County. Based on past year’s results, Anhui Agricultural University is continuing to conduct field fertilization trials for these two crops in 2009.

Effect of Fertilization on the Yield and Quality of Medicinal Crops in Anhui, 2008 Radix paeoniae (RP) and Rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae (RAM) are famous traditional Chinese medicinal herbs in Anhui Province. Bozhou County is especially dedicated to the production of these high value herbs with 70,000 ha planted, about 10% of China’s total. In 2008, Anhui Agricultural University conducted field fertilization trials for RP and RAM.
