Justification Unlike rainfed rea, fertilizer use in irrigated area in Jordan is either overfertilized or unbalanced. The major irrigated vegetable crops in Jordan are tomato, cucumber and pepper, while the major fruit trees is citrus, grape and banana, with recent growing interest in date palm.
