Response to zinc of maize crops in the argentinean Pampas

The objectives of this project are:

• To quantify Maize response to Zn in the Pampas region
• To determine the optimum Zn rate for corn
• To validate locally Zn analysis and critical levels

Field experiments are carried out for 2-3 years at different locations of the Pampas regions (Río IV: Chaján, Río IV, Carnerillo; Marcos Juárez; Oliveros; Rafaela; Pergamino; 9 de Julio; Daireaux/Pehuajó; Balcarce/Tandil; Necochea/Lobería).

Treatments include different Zn rates (0, 0.5, 1, and 2 kg Zn/ha) under NPS fertilization.
