Nutrient management and high-quality-efficiency BF technology for super-high-yield wheat in Anhui province

Wheat is the primary grain crop in Anhui province with annual sowing area 2 million ha. Anhui is one of the five largest production provinces of winter wheat in China with 9% planting area and 7% of yield in China’s wheat production. The average wheat yield in Anhui in recent years was 3,195 kg/ha, it was about 80% of the average yield of the country. The main reason of low winter wheat yield in Anhui is unreasonable fertilization, especially for intensive high yield production. Therefore, the Anhui Academy of Agricultural Science conducted field experiments of N, P and K fertilization all over the province since 2009.
