Objectives

    1. To identify mineral nutrient removal in the harvested portion of a variety of western Canadian crops, over a range of years and locations.
    2. To determine the impact of management practice, including fertilizer application, tillage systems and organic production on nutritional value and nutrient removal for a number of western Canadian crops.
    3. To identify management practices that can be used to optimize economic yield, functional quality and nutrient content of crops.
